Common Mistakes in CNC Machining Center Selection

Companies should first analyze their needs correctly.
By allocating a serious budget to machines with options that cannot be used in the short or long term, they increase the investment cost and impose an unnecessary financial burden on the operating budgets. For this reason, the process of paying for the machine itself is prolonged. There may be processes running on the contrary.
In order to reduce the investment cost of the machine, CNC Machine selections that do not fit the purpose and need of use are among the most obvious mistakes.

    Axis Properties of CNC Machines

What is the difference between 3, 4 or 5 axis CNC machines?

3 axes; It is the ability of the machine to move in profile length, width and height.
4 axes; The machining head of the machine can be angled 0° – 180° in the horizontal axis of the profile. As an example, it is possible to drill at various angles between 0° and 180° around the circumference of a pipe profile.
5 axes; In addition to these, the machining head of the machine can be angled 0°- 360° in the vertical axis of the profile.
For example, when a sphere is attached to the machine, the machine can operate from all sides of the sphere.

The number of axes in CNC machines also refers to the number of servo motors.
